Adnkronos Rome, Feb. 8 (Adnkronos) – "No phrase, no word" of 'Bella Stronza', in the version that Fedez will perform in duet with Marco Masini on the cover night of Sanremo 2025, "has been modified". "We simply combined parts of the original text with the new verses written by Federico for the occasion". Marco Masini clarified this in an Instagram story that was immediately shared by Fedez.
"The cover of "Bella Stronza" that Federico and I will bring to the Ariston stage on Friday will be nothing of what I'm reading in the media: no sentence, no word of the song has been changed. We simply combined parts of the original text with the new verses written by Federico for the occasion. A totally new story was born, which many are talking about without even having heard it", writes Masini.
Which however does not clarify which of the verses of the original text of 'Bella Stronza' will remain and which have been cut to make room for Fedez's lines. It remains to be seen whether the two verses cited several times in recent weeks as the most explicit in Masini's text will remain, namely: "Bella stronza/That you called the patrol that night/And you wanted to have me put in handcuffs/Just because I had lost my patience/Hope, yes, bella stronza". And again: "I would like to tear off/Those whore clothes/And keep you with your legs open/Until tomorrow morning comes/But of this love of ours/So tender and clean/I would have nothing left but a very long minute of violence/And then I say goodbye, bella stronza, eh".
