Milan, Feb. 8 (Adnkronos) – He tightened his hands around her neck and took them away when Jhoanna Nataly Quintanilla stopped breathing. This is how Pablo Gonzalez Rivas allegedly killed his partner, on the night between January 24 and 25, in their studio apartment in Piazza dei Daini in Milan. This is one of the details that emerged from the validation interrogation, which lasted about two hours, and was held late in the morning in the room of Milan judge Anna Calabi.

"I killed her, I didn't mean to. Then I panicked and decided to get rid of the body", the words of the 48-year-old locked up since yesterday, Friday 7 February, in the San Vittore prison on charges of aggravated voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse. After strangling her, her partner allegedly retrieved a gym bag, placed the body of the 40-year-old babysitter inside, then dragged it to the garage - as shown by the building's internal cameras - and put it in the trunk.

Only in the late afternoon of January 25th did he worry about getting rid of the heavy bag he had put in the trunk. The body of the 40-year-old babysitter has not yet been found, but from the first admissions and the investigations of the Carabinieri - who followed the 'path' of the license plate - it would be in the Cassano d'Adda area. She could have thrown the bag along "a road" as she admitted during the interrogation, or thrown it into the Adda river or the Muzza canal. The discovery of the body could ascertain whether Pablo Gonzalez Rivas' confession is credible.
