(Adnkronos) – According to the prosecutor De Tommasi, the suspects allegedly 'prompted' the defendant – even using protocols with "scores already entered" – so that she would obtain a psychiatric assessment capable of ascertaining a deficit, an illicit and unsuccessful defense activity. The psychologists allegedly went beyond their task, administering tests "incompatible with the actual psychic characteristics of the prisoner" and with interviews "falsely noted in the clinical diary", while the psychiatrist Garbarini, a consultant for the party, allegedly "externally directed" her in the answers to be given, the prosecution claims.
Finally, in the notice of conclusion of the investigation, the public prosecutor - who interviewed her cellmate Tiziana Morandi, better known as 'the Mantis of Brianza' - underlines how the lawyer Pontenani "invited Pifferi to simulate in prison behaviors and attitudes suitable to make her appear, contrary to the truth, as a 'crazy' and a 'mongoloid', in order to mislead the expert and the Court who should have assessed and judged her and be considered at least partially incapable of understanding and willing at the time of the fact".
The closure of the investigation comes five days after the appeal trial, after the first degree - the expert report ordered by the judges certified the full capacity of understanding and willing of the 39-year-old - sentenced her to life imprisonment for the charge of murdering little Diana, who was only 2 years old.
