Sana'a, April 28 (Adnkronos) – US airstrikes that hit Yemen's capital Sana'a killed at least eight people overnight, Houthi rebels said, while the US military admitted to having conducted over 800 attacks in a month.
The U.S. military's Central Command said the rebel-targeted "Operation Roughrider" had "killed hundreds of Houthi fighters and numerous leaders," including those associated with the missile and drone program.
"Iran undoubtedly continues to provide support to the Houthis," the statement read. "The Houthis can only continue to attack our forces with the support of the Iranian regime. We will continue to increase pressure until the objective, which remains the restoration of freedom of navigation and American deterrence in the region, is achieved."
