A wound that has affected every people," said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
"The horror and condemnation, publicly and repeatedly expressed, of Israel's cruel and unacceptable violence—which is causing the people of Gaza to pay an intolerable price of death, hunger, and desperation, which must be put to an end, requiring Israel to fully apply the norms of international humanitarian law—does not lessen the horror and condemnation," the Head of State added, "of the horrific and brutal violence perpetrated that day by Hamas."
