Madrid, April 24 (Adnkronos/AFP) – Spain has unilaterally cancelled a multimillion-dollar contract to buy bullets from an Israeli company, which had put the governing coalition at risk, with Sumar having sided against the Socialists, government sources said.
After "exhausting all avenues of negotiation," the offices of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Diaz, a member of Sumar, as well as "the relevant ministries, have decided to unilaterally cancel the ammunition purchase contract with the Israeli company Imi Systems," the sources said.
