Rome, 17 June – (Adnkronos) – "We are at the seventh edition of the plenary of the Manifesto against energy poverty with the Energy Bank. As Edison, we have been adhering to this initiative for some time, which has now been joined by almost 100 entities, and we are also part of the Board of Directors of the Bank. Over the years, we have moved from immediate relief interventions, such as support for paying bills, to more structural actions.

In the last year, for example, we have created four solidarity energy communities starting from Third Sector entities, installing photovoltaic panels and creating shared systems that allow more lasting benefits for vulnerable families and social organizations. Energy poverty is unfortunately still a reality, and for this reason it is essential that our sector works as a team to continue to fight it with effective and inclusive tools". This was stated by Nicola Monti, CEO of Edison, speaking at Palazzo Wedekind during the seventh plenary session of the Manifesto 'Together to fight energy poverty'.
