Adnkronos Pyongyang, Feb. 12 (Adnkronos) – North Korean state media have called US President Donald Trump’s proposal to occupy Gaza and transfer Palestinians ridiculous. The Palestinians’ scant hopes for security and peace have been shattered by the proposal, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said, without naming Trump.
"The world is seething like a pot of porridge over the US bombshell statement," KCNA added. During his first term, Trump held unprecedented summits with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and said he intended to reconnect with Kim.
North Korea, which often opposes Western views on international issues, has been outspoken about the situation in Gaza, blaming Israel for the bloodshed and calling the United States "complicit."
