Adnkronos Palermo, April 29 (Adnkronos) – "I reacted by shooting after being attacked. I'm sorry, I ask for forgiveness". These are the words of Salvatore Calvaruso, the 9-year-old boy accused of killing the three youths from Monreale, making spontaneous statements before the investigating judge of the Palermo Court, Ivana Vassallo. The young man claims to have been attacked by "a group of young people from the area" while he was in front of the bar 365 in via D'Acquisto after an argument that turned into a fight.
At that point he allegedly grabbed the gun and fired. The boy allegedly cried often during his spontaneous statements. But the investigating judge could not ask questions because Calvaruso exercised his right to remain silent.
