The end of a relationship is never easy, especially when it is not only feelings that divide, but also practical issues such as the management of a pet. This is precisely the case of Paola Turci e Francesca Pascale, whose separation after four years together sparked a controversy over their dog Lupo, who became the involuntary protagonist of the clash between the two ex-partners.
The End of the Marriage Between Paola Turci and Francesca Pascale
Paola Turci and Francesca Pascale have joined forces civilly on July 2 2022 in Montalcino, Tuscany, after a relationship that began in 2020. The wedding, away from the spotlight, saw the two women exchange promises of love in matching outfits, respectively a white pantsuit for Pascale and an elegant jumpsuit for Turci.
However, in the July 2024, just two years later, the marriage broke down. According to what reported by Vanity Fair, Pascale had declared that when the feeling is not mutual, it is necessary to realize it to avoid hurting each other.
Paola Turci and Francesca Pascale, tensions after the farewell: the dog Lupo at the center of the clash
Selvaggia Lucarelli told the Fatto Quotidiano that Francesca Pascale would have felt unloved, while Paola Turci would have suffered for the constant references to Silvio Berlusconi. The separation was requested by Pascale, shortly after her appearance on Belve. The two then signed a confidentiality agreement, explaining the little that is known about their marriage.
Among the conflicts between the two women there is also the Wolf dog: Turci did not want to separate him from the other animals, so Lupo stayed with Pascale. Paola asked to see him, but so far a meeting has not been organized. On this topic, Pascale responded directly to Lucarelli's questions:
“I can't talk because I signed a confidentiality agreement about my marriage to Paola, but if you're going to write this story about the dogs, I would like to defend myself and explain that this is not the case. The first time Paola had an appointment to see the dogs, but then she didn't show up due to a work commitment. The second time too, the third time I said ok come but you have to stay in the garden. She didn't come. Not only that, I tried to contact her a bunch of times in January, but she didn't answer me. I needed your authorization for a sedation for Lupo who was not well, but you ghosted me. In the end we proceeded with the vet without your ok, but it is absurd, the health of your dog depended on it”.
After these statements, Pascale also underlined, ideally addressing Turci, that she is free to see all the dogs whenever she wants and that she can also bring Lupo with her.
