Adnkronos Rome, November 13 (Adnkronos) – "The Democratic Party is once again the leading party and has set a new record: over 632.000 taxpayers chose us in 2025 with the 2x1000 tax return. In Schlein's three years as secretary, we have grown by over 40%," stated Michele Fina, national treasurer of the Democratic Party.
"The key," he explains, "was to transfer significant resources to the local communities for the first time since the end of public funding, using a reward mechanism.
Ours remains the party of thousands of clubs, activists, and administrators: these resources have increased membership and Unity Festivals, reopened offices, paid off debts, supported training, young people, and women.
"The national level has been restructured," Fina continues, "with employees removed from social security benefits after eight years, past debts repaid, credits recovered, and small donation platforms activated, without contributions from businesses. It's a 'classic' choice: investing in organization, in a solid and present party, not in leadership. The Democratic Party is and will remain a plural community, a collective intelligence, not a one-photo party. This ability to solve problems and rebuild is available to Italy and will continue to be so even after the useless and damaging right-wing government."
