Adnkronos Rome, March 18 (Adnkronos) – Roberto Genovesi will soon be joining the Rai musical chairs, which will begin on Thursday with a first round of nominations, as he is about to take on the role of director of Rai Kids. According to Adnkronos, the writer and teacher, currently director of Rai Libri (Rai's publishing house), will soon take over the helm of Rai Kids, when Luca Milano (67 years old on March 31) retires.
Genovesi's nomination should therefore concern one of the next meetings of the Board of Directors but not the one next Thursday.
According to reports, Marco Varvello, Rai correspondent from London, is also due to retire in May. Nicoletta Manzione will most likely take his place, leaving the Paris office, for which Gennaro Sangiuliano is in pole position.
At the moment it has not yet been decided who at Rai Libri will take Genovesi's place, who has held the role since July 2023: the name will in fact be chosen later by the RaiCom Board of Directors. And the role could also be temporarily entrusted ad interim to a RaiCom manager.
