Rome, April 30 (Adnkronos) – "More than a million jobs, Giorgia Meloni rejoices on social media. We are happy if employment increases. Over the last ten years, jobs have increased. Why? Because the Jobs Act was approved. Meloni, like the left, like Salvini, like the 5 Star Movement, cannot recognize the merits of the Jobs Act because they fought a very tough battle back then".

Matteo Renzi says this in a video on social media, writing a post: "Ninety seconds of real numbers and not propaganda. Meloni says that everything is going great. Yet people are struggling to make ends meet and young people are fleeing abroad. But does it really seem to you that Italians are better off than ten years ago?".

"But is Italy really the postcard country that Giorgia Meloni describes on social media? No, unfortunately it is not. Because salaries are too low, especially those of young people who are starving. Then because industrial production has been negative for 27 months. So do you know the only postcard? The one sent by the 191 thousand who left Italy in 2024 with an increase of more than 20 percent compared to the previous year".

"If we really want to do things seriously, we need to start lowering taxes and increasing salaries. Maybe reducing the many wastes that this government has relaunched in recent months. If we really want to honor May Day, let's stop with the influencer stories and get to work".
