Rome, 30 Apr. (askanews) – “Rail transport safety is no longer just a technical issue: it is now a strategic priority for the competitiveness and social stability of our country. As a Government and as a Ministry of Transport, we have chosen to intervene decisively, with targeted investments, technological innovation and strong collaboration between institutions, law enforcement and operators in the sector.
This is the direction we have chosen: safe, modern and efficient public transport. And we will continue on this path, because a safe infrastructure is synonymous with a strong and reliable country.”
This was stated by Deputy Minister Edoardo Rixi on the occasion of the signing of the agreement between ANSFISA, the National Agency for the Safety of Railways and Road and Motorway Infrastructures, and Italferr, an engineering company of the FS Italiane Group, to promote digital systems, models and best practices for the development, management, maintenance and monitoring of railway systems and subsystems.
