Fedez and his dark eyes on the green carpet of Sanremo 2025 were among the most discussed topics before the start of the festival. The rapper, competing with “Battito”, paraded in a white shirt and a dark coat. However, it was the unusual color of his eyes, neri and intense, to arouse greater curiosity: it was about lenses in contact. Here's what the rapper revealed to Pieces.
Sanremo 2025: Fedez reveals the reason for the black contact lenses
Il rapper, podcast guest Pieces, has revealed the mystery behind the images that have been making the rounds on the web after last night's Green Carpet. The shots of her catwalk have gone viral, raising questions among fans and the curious, due to the dilated pupils which made the iris almost completely black.
“The answer is in the song I will sing. It is an idea that came to me at the last minute. Since in the song I say "inside my eyes war of the worlds"... I took inspiration from Wes Borland and his preparation and I decided to put some contact lenses even though I had never worn them before. I have to say it wasn't a great idea, it's not easy... I also have other lenses that take up your entire eyeball, but I don't know".
Then, he added:
"I had forgot the lens case and then I couldn't take them off after the tests. The eyes are fine”.
Meanwhile, on social media, many fans had expressed concern for Fedez's health, but thanks to his explanation, the controversy and doubts have subsided, at least for the moment.
Fedez and the rumors about his private life
Regarding the controversy surrounding Fabrizio Corona's revelations, Fedez in the interview he admits that he made a serious mistake and that he is sorry for having involved other people in this situation.
On this difficult moment, the rapper underlined:
“In the past, when I happened to be in a situation where I was very emotionally involved, and in these cases you risk not understanding anything, I clung to this branch of hope to try to re-establish a personal relationship. Clinging to that thread of hope I let myself be dragged into a pit. Probably what I would have done was to barricade myself at home and fall into a self-destructive oblivion.”
And, to date, he reveals:
“But at a certain point I said to myself: let's try to make the best of even the bad things. If I can deal with it, at least I can get something positive out of all this shit here. The festival is emotionally important to manage, doing it with an additional load that was created through my fault is very challenging”.
Fedez explained that everything he has gone through, from cancer to health problems to divorce, has made him stronger. Compared to his first participation in the Sanremo Festival in 2021, he admitted that he is now better able to handle the pressure.
