The Lazio Regional School Office, through a circular signed by the general director Anna Paola Sabatini, has communicated the Closure of schools in the capital for the day of the funeral.
This decision, as specified by the USR, concerns exclusively the schools in Rome, and aims to ensure safety and public order management during an event of historical and global significance.
“In consideration of the organizational and security needs connected to the celebration of the funeral mass for the Holy Father, scheduled for April 26, School institutions are asked to provide for the closure of school buildings for the entire day, unless days of suspension of teaching activities have already been decided for the anniversary of April 25th”, we read in the note.
