Road accident in Versilia at night: a 54-year-old man hospitalized in serious conditions at Cisanello hospital

A serious accident road accident occurred last night in Versilia, resulting in the hospitalization of a 54-year-old man, who suffered numerous traumas, including the amputation of a lower limb.

The man, a resident in the area, was located in saddle to a motorbike when, shortly after 3am this morning, it collided with a car in via Apuan Alps to Querceta, in the municipality of Seravezza.

On site, in addition to the paramedics, the Forte dei Marmi police also intervened. The police were alerted immediately, as were the 118 doctors who arrived on site to provide first aid to the motorcyclist.

In the meantime, the Carabinieri also intervened to shed light on the tragedy and for the usual investigations.

What is certain is that the man who was driving the two-wheeled vehicle was the one who got the worst of it. The 54-year-old, in fact, fell heavily onto the asphalt, causing himself serious injuries. In the violent impact he suffered numerous traumas including the amputation of a lower limb.

The injured man was transported to critical condition to the Cisanello hospital via the Pegaso regional helicopter rescue service.
