Those present, including the Police slope assistance operators, quickly identified the ski mountaineer thanks to an arm emerging from the snow. In a few moments, they freed him from the pile di INFO of about half a meter that had submerged it.
To ensure that no one else was involved, the avalanche area was cleared with the support of two canine units, transported to the site by the Air Service Center helicopter, in collaboration with the Dolomiti Bellunesi Alpine Rescue Service.
