Rome, May 16 (Adnkronos Salute) – "Today more than ever we need vision and responsibility. The time to listen must become a structural choice. Aisla will continue to do its part with seriousness, roots and a network that knows the present and builds the future. The two days of the national conference here in Jesi represent a declaration of commitment for Aisla.
The 'Life Project', the recognition of the family caregiver and the investment in home care are the three directions on which the future of care depends. These are concrete issues that can no longer be postponed and that require political courage and alliances, real relationships. Here in Jesi we have shown that it is possible to build solutions. We start by listening and working together, with responsibility and vision". Fulvia Massimelli, national president of the Italian Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, told Adnkronos, on the occasion of the Aisla national conference, today and tomorrow in Jesi.
"For Aisla, listening and proximity are not just words, but actions - Massimelli then added - The proof is in the numbers of the Association: over 2.500 members, 300 volunteers, 64 territorial offices and more than 6.600 concrete interventions to support people with ALS in 2024 alone". "Every day we enter the homes of families, we enter their stories and their fragilities. Ours is a constant commitment, made of real presence, authentic relationships, and the solutions that we try to build together and adapt them person by person" he then concluded.
