Rome, April 23 (Adnkronos) – Gruppo Cap, the green utility that manages the integrated water service of the Metropolitan City of Milan, renews its commitment to environmental and scientific education with two new Open Day events dedicated to schools and citizens. On May 7, the Salazzurra Research Center at Idroscalo will be the protagonist, while on May 8, it will be the turn of the Bresso-Niguarda Purifier.

Through these events, the Lombardy green utility promotes sustainable behavior and a more conscious use of water. Thanks to practical demonstrations, workshops and guided tours, students and citizens will be able to learn about the path of water, from collection to treatment, up to reuse. An opportunity to approach the themes of protection of natural resources, circularity and innovation applied to water systems.

The first scheduled event is for Wednesday, May 7, starting at 9.30:XNUMX am, at the Salazzurra Research Center. Located inside the Idroscalo park in Milan, it hosts the Cap drinking water laboratories, which analyze thousands of samples every year to guarantee the absolute safety of tap water. Not only that: Salazzurra is a cutting-edge research center on new technologies related to water resources, the environment and the circular economy.

The second appointment is scheduled for Thursday 8 May, again starting at 9.30:142.473,22, and will feature the Bresso-Niguarda plant. With a surface area of ​​XNUMXmXNUMX, it represents one of the most important and innovative purification plants, both for the technologies used and for the experimental activities underway, such as the production of biomethane from sewage sludge.
