Rome, April 14 (Adnkronos) – The Agsm Aim Foundation has officially begun its operational activity, an organization created with the aim of supporting the social, educational and cultural development of the territories of Verona and Vicenza, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability. The Foundation will in fact act on three priority lines of intervention: 'Energy to educate', to promote initiatives on the themes of education and instruction, 'Energy for the community', focused on the themes of social issues, solidarity and inclusion and 'Energy for culture'.

During the press conference held this morning at the Agsm Aim headquarters, the official website, fondazione.agsmaim.it, was presented, as well as the first call for proposals within the 'Energie per la Comunità' intervention line, with a total allocation of 100 thousand euros, intended to support projects based on sports activities as a vehicle for social inclusion, in particular aimed at minors who are in fragile or vulnerable conditions. Interested parties, such as Third Sector Entities, social enterprises, amateur sports organizations and other non-commercial entities, can submit their applications by filling out the online form available from April 21st until May 31st 2025. The initiatives will be evaluated on the basis of their social impact, economic sustainability and ability to activate innovative territorial networks.

Also announced is the second call that will focus on a single project dedicated to the historical recovery of the presence of Agsm Aim in the territories, with educational purposes and oriented towards the themes of environmental sustainability. The call will be published after the closing of applications for the first.

"The Agsm Aim Foundation was born with the intention of leaving a positive and concrete mark on our territories, investing in projects capable of generating lasting social and environmental value. The intent is above all to support small local entities that have great generative potential in terms of social impact. The first call, focused on sport and inclusion, is the tangible demonstration of our commitment to the youngest and local communities, especially at a time when the city of Verona and the entire Veneto region are preparing for the great Olympic event: it is important to support even the smallest sporting activities, which have the potential to make a difference in the lives of many young people", declared Giorgio Mion, president of the Agsm Aim Foundation.

Federico Testa, president of the Agsm Aim Group, added: "We are proud to support the Agsm Aim Foundation since its inception. The initiatives it is launching not only perfectly reflect the values of our Group, but are also essential tools for the enhancement of our territories and their potential. We strongly believe that supporting projects of social inclusion, education and environmental sustainability contributes to creating more united communities, ready for the challenges of the future".
