Rome, April 10 (Adnkronos) – The Giro d'Italia della Csr, the itinerant event of the Salone della Csr e dell'Innovazione sociale, continues its journey through Italy to promote discussion and share experiences and projects related to sustainability. The next appointment is in Rome, on April 14 at 9.30:XNUMX at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, for a meeting entitled 'Awareness, inclusion, co-creation'.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Roman University, the Maris and Memis executive masters and with the Anima association for social values in business, focuses on the importance of networking.
“A transformation process is underway that requires the collaboration of various social actors,” says Rossella Sobrero, of the Salone’s promoting group. “It is now clear that when a project is shared in its objectives, in the way it operates and communicates, positive results arrive with satisfaction for all those involved and especially for the beneficiaries.” Rossella Sobrero will open the proceedings of the Roman stage, which will take place in person in the Sala del Consiglio of the Faculty of Economics, via Columbia 2, together with Nathan Levialdi Ghiron, Rector of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. “In a world that is changing at an increasing speed,” says the Rector, “universities have the task not only of training skills, but of activating connections. Collaborating on the CSR Giro d’Italia means enhancing our public vocation: uniting knowledge, territory and social responsibility. It is not just a stage, it is a step forward in the direction of a university that is increasingly open, inclusive and aware of its transformative role.”
Sabrina Florio, president of Anima per il sociale nei valori d’impresa, also contributes to the opening of the proceedings. “The difficult historical moment we are going through forces us to put sustainability at the center, accelerating the transformation of the business and seizing new opportunities for investment and growth,” she comments. “The enormous challenges of the near future require everyone’s commitment and collaboration. Values such as awareness, inclusion, co-creation must be the fundamental pillars through which to act, to build a business model capable of reconciling economic competitiveness with socio-environmental well-being, making the best use of available resources.”
The Rome stage of the Giro d'Italia della Csr is the occasion to present several projects launched in the area, which have also actively involved young students. This is the case of the intergenerational co-housing project 'Together we are better', created to unite the needs of university students away from home looking for affordable accommodation and those of families, couples and seniors willing to share little-used spaces of their qualification in exchange for a contribution to expenses, a little domestic help or simple company. Bianca Sulpasso, delegate for Internationalization of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, will tell the story of the experience, which thanks to the sounding board of the Salone aims to be replicated in other cities.
Still on the subject of the housing emergency, the project of the municipality of Artena, 30 km from Rome in the upper valley of the Sacco river, aims to repopulate small villages, an example of resilience and capacity for renewal that becomes part of 'Together we are better', and which will be described by Livia Latini, Councilor for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Municipality of Artena. Her contribution will be followed by the presentation of the new 'Guide for courageous communities - Remedies against depopulation' presented by Dario Poligioni, Business Developer of Next - New Economy for All. Several other projects of inclusion and social and urban regeneration will be presented by Stefano Bani, member of the Board of Directors of Retake Roma, and by Dario Nanni, president of the Giubileo Commission.
The second panel dedicated to projects in the territory will focus on the case of 'Welfare di Comunità Colombi', a project designed for migrants but not only, which concerns the reception facility for minors in Via dei Colombi 190 in Rome, which has now become an open place capable of connecting with the territory. The project was born from the need to enhance the living and social capital of the neighborhood, Torre Maura, and the suburbs where the reception facility is located.
Thanks to an important co-design work with the Department of Social Policies of Rome Capital, the Integra Program and the cooperatives Fai, Il Cammino, Parsec and Spes contra Spem, a series of activities and workshops open to all have been activated, which aim to promote social cohesion and the active participation of citizens and Unaccompanied Foreign Minors through the development of youth and community empowerment and social mediation. The project also involves the organizations and entities present in the Municipio VI, including the University of Rome Tor Vergata, thanks to the commitment of the second level Master Maris-Rendicontazione Innovazione Sostenibilità directed by Professor Gloria Fiorani.
Talking about the 'Welfare di Comunità Colombi' will be Stefania Milone, director of the UO Protezione Persone minore età Roma Capitale; Valentina Fabbri, president of the Integra Program; Lorenzo Guerra, student at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
“The success of a master's degree like Maris is also measured by its ability to stimulate intersectoral collaboration and the creation of innovative sustainable development projects in response to the needs of the administration, the company, the university, the school, the territory, the citizen, with a win-win approach capable of actively involving and enhancing the talents and skills of students, teachers and partners – comments Gloria Fiorani, director of the Maris and Memis Masters – Discovering that Rome Capital had included the Masters as privileged partners in the public notice of co-design with Third Sector Bodies 'Welfare comunità Colombi' was a source of great satisfaction and pride because it means that the concrete ability to create value in the territory is recognized”.
To continue to promote communication between institutions and citizens, the Rome stage will also host a dialogue session with the institutions at 11.30:XNUMX, moderated by Rossella Sobrero, with the participation of Carmela Pierri, Head of Uos Formazione e Comunicazione Inpm – Istituto Salute Migranti; Romano Amato, Councilor for Social Services of the Municipio VI of Rome Capital; Manuel Onorati, President of Cus Roma Tor Vergata and Luana La Bara, Rome Technopole researcher.
The conclusion of the stage will be entrusted to Marco Meneguzzo, honorary professor of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. The work will continue in the afternoon, from 14 to 18 pm, with the seminar to present the research coordinated by Professor Fiorani as part of the Grins – Growing Resilient, INclusive and Sustainable project 'Mitigation and adaptation to climate risk. Are businesses and institutions in the Lazio Region ready?'. The next appointment with the Giro d'Italia della Csr will be in Turin on May 12, 2025.
