Cairo, 24 Apr. (askanews) – “Italy will support in every way the Egyptian mediation attempt to reach a prolonged ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Egypt's work is not easy, but I have placed our country at my complete disposal so that peace can be achieved in this tormented Middle Eastern area.
Also with regard to reconstruction, we have renewed our full support for the Egyptian action. We have said that we are ready to do everything that could be useful to favor Egyptian mediation": this was stated in Cairo by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, speaking to journalists on the sidelines, at the end of the meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
