Milan, 15 Oct. (askanews) – There are ballads and more energetic songs, but above all there is a lot of pen, dense and more mature lyrics in Tananai's second album.
“CALMOCOBRA was born in a moment of tranquility, which is what I was looking for to recognize myself a little more, above all, to be able to make music as sincere as possible. I needed to understand who I had become, my life changed like that overnight and although I would have obviously wanted to continue to go around, to do concerts, I didn't want to make fun of people and I needed to recognize myself to make real music”.
At the heart of the songs on “CALMOCOBRA” are human relationships and the emotions that arise from them when little things go bad.
“Although it may be a bit provocative to think that the cobra is an aggressive animal, in reality the cobra is calm, like all of us it is also capable of doing harm, right? So it is simply a reminder to stay calm in order to really, really, really get to know each other. As for the themes, however, they are very simple. They are personal sensations on moments lived within a relationship, a friendship, a thought about the future or a look at the past. They are thoughts that I think unite us all”.
In just a few years, “the little rascal” has conquered the general public, but he remains a simple boy and lives his celebrity like this.
“I take it well, it's a beautiful thing when you have the opportunity to make someone's day better, because maybe they recognize you, ask you for a photo, a chat”.
CALMOCOBRA is a coherent album, very played and thought out in live dynamics.
“I really like it when people sing at me, because if you don't do it for that, I honestly don't know why I would do it. And that's why we put the album out and go on tour right away, because I had already waited enough, I couldn't wait any longer. So it's also nice to learn an album together again, something. The live dimension is the only thing that matters, basically, in my opinion”.
It is therefore time for Tananai to bring his new music to the stages of the sports halls of the main Italian cities.
