The situation is worsening with injuries and air strikes in the context of a regional conflict.

Rising toll of injuries in Tira

The situation in Tira, an Israeli city located about 30 km northeast of Tel Aviv, has become critical after rockets fired from Lebanon hit the area. Health authorities confirmed that the number of injured has risen to 19, four of whom are in stable condition. The injured were promptly transported to local hospitals, while the Israeli rescue service Magen David Adom confirmed the incident. This attack represents a significant escalation of tensions in the region, already marked by prolonged and complex conflicts.

The role of the Houthis and external support

A United Nations report has revealed that Yemen’s Houthi rebels have acquired significant military power thanks to unprecedented external support, particularly from Iran and Hezbollah. This development has transformed the Houthis from an armed group with limited capabilities to a powerful military organization, capable of operating well beyond its own borders. UN experts have highlighted how this transformation has been facilitated by transfers of military equipment, financial support and technical assistance provided by external forces, including Iran’s Quds Force.

The consequences of the ongoing conflict

In recent days, violence has escalated exponentially. According to government sources in Gaza, over 84 people, including more than 50 children, have been killed in Israeli air strikes on residential buildings. Reports also indicate that dozens of people are missing or injured. The situation is further complicated by reciprocal attacks, with rockets from Lebanon hitting several Israeli cities, causing injuries and significant damage. Israel Army Radio confirmed that at least seven people were injured in Tira, while warning sirens sounded across the country, signaling the imminent danger.
