Milan, October 14 (askanews) – Every year, thousands of Italian students face one of the most important decisions of their lives: deciding what to do after graduation. A journey filled with determination, but also with doubts and uncertainties. Against this backdrop, thefaculty was born and grows, the free digital platform that supports students in their orientation and university preparation.
We spoke with Christian Drammis, CEO and Founder:
The Faculty was created to be a concrete bridge between schools and universities, guiding and preparing students for all admission tests free of charge. We do this with certified content from Selexi, a leading company that writes and compiles the main admission tests. We do this with the patronage of over 30 Italian universities.
The platform's core is made up of exercises, simulations, and personalized learning paths. Its mission is clear: to act as a bridge between schools and universities. This goal is also achieved through national projects like MOOD, promoted by all Italian universities and supported by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR). MOOD will host an event with experts and faculty in November at Sapienza University of Rome.
MOOD is the orientation and mentoring project dedicated to medicine and dentistry. Sapienza University, with its magnificent rector Polimeni and vice-rector Basili, are the project's leaders, and involves approximately 43 state and private universities.
And to explore the academic world in a direct and engaging way, thefaculty Podcast is born, a new format featuring professors, experts, and special guests. The pilot episode featured the Minister of Universities and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.
The goal is always the same: to analyze current trends and give a voice to the key players, building a bridge between students and institutions. Some of the upcoming guests will be Bocconi University Rector Francesco Billari, Bocconi University Vice Rector Chiara Fumagalli, the Rector of Rome La Sapienza University, the largest in Italy, Antonella Polimeni, and finally, the Rector of Ferrara and, most importantly, the newly elected President of Cruy Laura Ramacciotti.
In just a few years, Thefaculty has amassed significant numbers while remaining true to its mission: to guide every Italian student through the most important decision of their lives. And to do so with the right tools.
