“Whenever religious leaders come together in a spirit of mutual esteem and commit themselves to the culture of encounter, through dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation, our hope for a better and more just world is renewed and confirmed", he declared after the meeting with the delegation from Albania.
He stressed that the friendly relations between the Catholic Church, Albania and the Bektashi Community represent a common good, expressing confidence that these ties will increasingly strengthen in favor of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence between peoples.
