A technological innovation at the service of culture
The Rome Chamber of Commerce has taken a step forward in integrating technology into public services, presenting its first “robot employee”. This innovative project, which required an investment of 137 thousand euros and 18 months of development, was inaugurated at the Temple of Vibia Sabina and Hadrian, a symbolic place that combines history and modernity.
The Robot Adriano: An Ambassador of History
The robot, named “Hadrian” in honor of the Roman emperor and the temple itself, will be responsible for welcoming visitors and providing detailed information about the history and characteristics of the site. Lorenzo Tagliavanti, president of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, stressed the importance of this project, stating that it “will provide information and tell the story of this place to those who come to visit it.” This initiative not only aims to improve the visitor experience, but also represents a significant step towards the adoption of advanced technologies in the public sector.
An interactive future for visitors
The Adriano robot is not just a technological attraction, but a real interaction tool. Thanks to an artificial intelligence system, the robot will be able to answer questions, provide historical information and guide visitors through the site. This innovative approach could represent a model for other cultural and tourist institutions, which could adopt similar solutions to improve interaction with the public.
Impact on tourism promotion
The presence of a robot like Adriano could have a significant impact on the tourism promotion of Rome. With the increase in interest in innovative technologies and interactive experiences, visitors could be attracted not only by the historical beauty of the city, but also by its ability to integrate modernity and tradition. This could help position Rome as one of the most cutting-edge tourist destinations in Europe.
