Rome, 7 Feb. (Adnkronos) – "Aldo Tortorella was a protagonist of history and of the Italian left. His commitment to the struggle for Liberation and then as a leader of the Italian Communist Party made him a point of reference for many generations. He pushed us to look to the future and to the challenges with a critical spirit, passion and determination. We will miss him". This was stated by Chiara Braga, leader of the Democratic Party in the Chamber of Deputies at the opening of the funeral chapel for Aldo Tortorella.
