A tragic accident on Lake Como
A dramatic event has shaken the community of Lissone, in the province of Monza and Brianza, where a 63-year-old woman lost her life after falling into the waters of Lake Como. The accident occurred in Gera Lario, a place known for its scenic beauty and water activities that attract numerous tourists and enthusiasts every year.

According to initial reports, the woman was on board a sailboat with her 65-year-old husband. While sailing, she lost her balance and fell into the water. The situation immediately became critical, and the alarm was raised by some kite surfers who, noticing the boat adrift and without any occupants, contacted the Menaggio Coast Guard.
Rescuers intervention
Rescue teams quickly arrived on the scene, where they identified two people in the water: the husband, who had dived in in a desperate attempt to save his wife, and the woman, who was already unconscious. Rescuers immediately provided first aid and transported the woman in red code to the hospital in Gravedona. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, she was declared dead shortly after admission.
