The news agency Efe cites government sources and provides the latest updates on what is happening in Spain. The death toll from theValencia flood would have reached 1202. The number, however, is sadly destined to rise because, according to the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles"Many people are still missing".

"There are 51 dog teams to remove debris and see if there are any people alive” – declared Minister Robles, explaining that the authorities are focusing their research especially on warehouses and garages. Meanwhile, the situation of the weather is improving, so much so that the maximum alert has been replaced by orange in Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia and the Calencian Community.
