A moment of terror
Last night was a traumatic experience for Valeria Marini, the famous Italian showgirl. While she was returning home, around 23 pm, she experienced a moment of fear that could have had much more serious consequences. The episode occurred in a familiar context, but it turned into a nightmare when she heard suspicious noises while climbing the stairs of her building. Marini's promptness and the timely intervention of the police avoided the worst.
Escaping the attacker
Valeria, accustomed to that route, would never have expected to find herself in such a dangerous situation. The disturbing noises pushed her to ask out loud if there was anyone nearby. This action triggered the attacker's reaction, who, probably hidden, tried to chase her. The showgirl, gripped by panic, reacted by fleeing from the building at full speed, managing to stop a police patrol that was passing by at that moment. Her promptness made the difference, allowing her to save herself.
The complaint and the consequences
After telling the officers what had happened, Valeria witnessed the arrest of the young suspect, who reacted aggressively towards the police. The showgirl filed a complaint and, accompanied by an officer, returned to the building to verify that the danger was indeed over. The situation turned out to be more serious than expected: broken light bulbs and a tampered alarm system indicated that the attacker had acted with premeditation. Despite the trauma, Valeria said she felt lucky to have managed to escape and to have found help in time. “I am deeply shocked, but I feel lucky,” she said, emphasizing how the noise alerted her and allowed her to react promptly.
