Rome, 30 April (Adnkronos) – "They once again reject our proposals for the minimum wage: never on the side of workers, never on the side of the weakest. This is the Meloni Government. The wage issue in our country is so serious that it has pushed the President of the Republic himself to call on all of us to act".
Thus stated in a note the Democratic Party senator Michele Fina.
"Instead, nothing, the Government pretends nothing is happening, blocked by internal clashes that are now daily practice. On wages we are at the theater of the absurd: We Moderates and the League on one side, Fdi on the other, with FI that would like to but cannot. In short, an incredible confusion. The facts say that the Government seems to no longer have any operating margin, crushed between internal disputes and the marginalization determined by ill-advised choices in foreign policy. At present we register nothing on wages, nothing on energy costs where the measures implemented have turned out to be a mockery that humiliates the weakest and dissatisfies businesses. Schools and Healthcare are victims of continuous cuts".
"It is no coincidence that the economic planning documents are nothing because the economic policy of the Meloni Government is nothing. The few but important resources have been used for electoral bribes and now the results are there for all to see: more taxes and fewer services. The tax burden has increased to compensate for the lack of strategy. This is the balance of three years of right-wing government. Behind the sovereignism and toxic slogans of the right there is only a serious and dangerous incapacity".
