Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – A newborn baby was found abandoned in Cinisello Balsamo, near Milan. Rescued by 118, the baby was taken to Niguarda Hospital in critical condition. The discovery was made around 4:00 PM by a woman walking her dog on Via Monte Ortigara. The passerby heard moans coming from a grocery bag, approached it, and found the baby inside, lying on a blanket next to a tree in the street.
On site, in addition to the 118 emergency service, which transported the child in critical condition to Niguarda Hospital, officers from the Cinisello Balsamo police station and the Milan police flying squad intervened.
