The Hague, September 16 (askanews) – Supporters of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci rallied in The Hague as a special tribunal for Kosovo found the former president guilty of war crimes and sentenced him to 25 years in prison for the crimes of “murder, torture and illegal detention,” committed as a senior commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the war to separate the territory from the former Yugoslavia in the late 90s.
