This morning, around 9am, a serious accident occurred left on the Aurelia state road heading north, shortly after Grosseto. The crash involved a van stopped on the roadside and a 9-seater minibus with Asian tourists, violently struck by a passing truck. A car was also reportedly involved in the collision.
The fire brigade, two helicopters from the Pegaso regional fleet and several ambulances intervened on the scene, while Anas and the police managed the traffic, diverting traffic on the provincial road 152. The state road remained temporarily closed from km 188 to km 198.
