Daniela Santanché under investigation in Milan: the curators' reports and other ongoing proceedings
As reported by Adnkronos , the entry in the register of suspects came after the filing of the bankruptcy trustee's report, which reconstructed the company's operations, management decisions, and the causes of the bankruptcy, verifying any responsibilities of the former directors.
In particular, the court noted " a series of multiple critical issues linked to the unavailability of resources to pay creditors ," further emphasizing that " the application and the financial plan underlying the restructuring agreement are manifestly inadmissible and inadequate to achieve the pre-established objectives of resolving the crisis ."
In addition to Santanchè, the file also concerns other former company executives, including Canio Giovanni Mazzaro.
The case of Ki Group Holding S.p.A., which went bankrupt on June 5, 2025, remains in the background, pending the liquidator's report: the various proceedings could be consolidated into a single file. Meanwhile, the minister is already on trial for false accounting in the Visibilia case and is involved in a separate investigation for aggravated fraud against INPS, currently suspended pending the Constitutional Court's decision.
Daniela Santanché under investigation in Milan: the new criminal charges against the Tourism Minister
The scope of the investigation involving Daniela Santanchè is expanding . The already known investigation into the bankruptcy of Ki Group srl is now being joined by another investigation into Bioera , a biofood company of which the Minister of Tourism was president until 2021. The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a new bankruptcy file after the court ordered the company's liquidation in December 2024.
The documents reveal a severely compromised financial situation: the ruling speaks of a " negative net worth " of approximately €8 million and a total lack of resources. According to the judges, Bioera " has no liquidity in its current accounts nor does it possess other readily available or rapidly realizable financial or capital assets that would allow it to pay its creditors ," a factor that significantly influenced the decision to initiate bankruptcy proceedings.
