"The Agile program is agile, in name and in fact: it had a very fast process, we discussed it in two committees, but this didn't slow down the process," said Elena Donazzan, MEP for the Brothers of Italy party, describing the European program dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within a value chain.

According to Donazzan, around 30 projects involving multiple companies will be launched as early as 2027, "with strong leaders, so as to foster growth throughout the entire network."

Funds of 115 million euros have been allocated, primarily to simplified procedures for SMEs.
