Paris, October 13 (askanews) – "We won't stop until the €10 billion is on the table." Sabrine Kharbach, spokesperson for the French student union "Union étudiante," told AFP at the start of the Parisian march marking "Act V" of the high school student movement. Several student organizations have called on their members to join the "yellow vest" movement on October 17. Sabrine Kharbach, spokesperson for the Union étudiante: "They make us go from ministry to ministry, telling us 'we're listening,' but the words go in one ear and out the other.
But we tell them that we will not give in, that we will not stop until there are 10 billion on the table and until our demands are heard; and our mobilization will see even more massive participation. Today we are with high school students, teachers, students, firefighters, farmers. Tomorrow, the 17th (October), we will stand alongside the 'yellow vests' and all French people.
It's not a question of labels: it's that the French have had enough. This is therefore an opportunity to raise our heads after these ten years of Macronism that have brought us all to our knees. We will not give up: we will continue the mobilization until we get what we demand."
