(Adnkronos) – 'Orchestrating Intelligence – Where Humans & AI Play in Symphony' will be the theme of the 4th edition of the AI Festival, the international festival on Artificial Intelligence conceived by Search On Media Group and powered by WMF – We Make Future, scheduled for February 11 and 12, 2027 in Milan, at the Superstudio Maxi spaces.

No longer just tools, models, or automation, but—the organizers emphasize—a complex ecosystem in which people, intelligent agents, data, infrastructure, and advanced technologies interact in an increasingly integrated way.

This is the perspective that will guide the 2027 edition, called upon to investigate and structure a new coordinated convergence between technologies, human skills, and business processes. In this scenario, the challenge no longer concerns merely the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence, but the ability to provide direction, governance, and value to the various forms of intelligence that are transforming businesses, institutions, research, work, and society.

“Orchestrating intelligence means taking on the responsibility of guiding increasingly complex systems, in which people, technologies, data, and artificial agents must contribute to the creation of real value,” says Cosmano Lombardo, Founder and CEO of Search On Media Group and creator of the WMF and AI Festival.

With AI Festival 2027, we're bringing a crucial question to the forefront of international debate: how to govern the evolution of AI while keeping humans at the center of direction, decisions, and impacts. This edition's theme stems from the need to offer businesses, institutions, research centers, professionals, and startups a place to explore the transformations, understand their implications, and build responsible, competitive, and shared development paths.

After a third edition that attracted over 10.000 attendees, more than 200 speakers, over 120 sponsors, exhibitors, and partners, and more than 800 B2B meetings, the AI Festival returns with a new edition designed to strengthen international debate on AI business, advanced training, governance, research, innovation, and the social impact of Artificial Intelligence.

The 2027 edition will once again be held with the support of the City of Milan and the participation of long-standing and internationally renowned institutional partners such as CINECA and IIT – Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, along with the ecosystem of skills, businesses, startups, investors, institutions, and professionals developed over the years by WMF – We Make Future.

The theme of the event will be explored along the main lines of the event: international AI business, advanced training, research, startups, open innovation, governance, and social, ethical, and legal impacts.

For businesses and institutions, the Festival will provide an opportunity to discuss industrial models, decision-making processes, production chains, technological infrastructure, competitiveness, and new forms of collaboration between people and intelligent systems. For professionals, managers, developers, innovation managers, and decision makers, the two-day event will offer tools and operational perspectives for understanding the evolution of AI and applying it concretely, responsibly, and competitively.

There's also ample space for startups, innovative SMEs, scaleups, investment funds, venture capital, and corporate innovation, with initiatives dedicated to visibility, connections, and business opportunities throughout the development cycle of AI-based businesses. This process once again includes AI For Future, the competition dedicated to AI startups, designed to promote high-potential projects and connect them with capital, deal flow, industrial expertise, and international amplification capabilities. Among the opportunities for international visibility and networking offered by the call, in addition to participation in WMF – We Make Future 2027 (June 10, 11, and 12, BolognaFiere), are participation in the AI For Future event in San Francisco (November 5, 2026) and Saudi Makes Future, scheduled for Riyadh from December 14 to 16, 2026. The AI Festival is part of WMF for AI, the series of initiatives promoted by WMF – We Make Future to spread culture, skills, awareness, and opportunities around Artificial Intelligence.
