The discovery of Physical Italia
Bad Matty said he was contacted about the show via a message on Instagram . He initially thought it was a fake profile, but that changed when he received a new contact, including from a producer. At that point, he realized the project was real.
To participate in Physical Italia, he didn't have to change his routine: he trained as he has every day for fifteen years, continuing with breaking, breakdancing, and MMA, without introducing any unusual workouts. His preparation was a demonstration of how consistency and passion can lead to excellent results.
Knowledge of the format and the relationship with the cast
When asked about the format, Bad Matty explained that he was already familiar with it, even though he hadn't seen all the episodes. The Korean edition had in fact generated a lot of buzz among sports fans in Italy, and he had even discussed it with his friends.
