Rome, September 23 - (Adnkronos) – "What happened yesterday by pro-Hamas activists in Milan has far exceeded the limits of tolerance. Those acts of violence and attacks, without any justification, especially against the police, must be punished immediately, but above all, targeted preventive measures are needed. For the attacks and damage to public and private property, in a symbolic location of historical and architectural importance in Milan, the Central Station, which has also suffered serious disruption to the rail network and transport, someone must be held accountable and pay the consequences."

This is what Riccardo De Corato, MP for the Brothers of Italy party, vice president of the Constitutional Affairs Committee, and former deputy mayor of Milan's center-right administration, said.

"For this reason, I will submit a written question to the Chamber of Deputies for the attention of the Ministers of the Interior and Infrastructure, asking them to clarify what measures the Government intends to promote, first to recover for the extensive damage suffered yesterday, and then whether they will consider implementing effective legislation aimed at strengthening and protecting sensitive sites of historical and artistic importance in our Italian cities. I also ask whether members of the Leoncavallo social center, the other nine social centers, and second-generation Maranza members were present in yesterday's shameful clashes. How would Sala, in the event of the Leoncavallo group's involvement, give them a space in the city?" he concludes.
