Marc Marquez triumphs in Misano and reopens the race for the world title today, Sunday 13 September. The Ducati rider takes victory ahead of his brother Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta, completing an all-Spanish podium in San Marino.

Fourth place for Fermin Aldeguer, while Jorge Martin finished fifth and thus joined him at the top of the world championship standings.

Marco Bezzecchi, on the other hand, had a race to forget: the Aprilia rider, who started from pole and immediately took the lead, crashed on the first lap, immediately seeing his chances of scoring important points vanish. Among the retirements were Francesco Bagnaia, Johann Zarco, Alex Rins, Diogo Moreira, Joan Mir, and Jack Miller. With today's win, Marc Marquez joins Jorge Martin at the top of the points table with 274.
