Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – A woman's body has gone missing because her burial niche, which she had legally purchased, was illegally occupied by another deceased. This happened in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples). A 43-year-old woman went to the local Carabinieri station and reported that the burial niche in the Castellammare cemetery she had purchased years ago was occupied by another body.
The marble headstone bears the birth date of a woman born in 1938 and deceased on December 4, 2025. The 43-year-old had not visited the cemetery in exactly a year. Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri, coordinated by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office. Some documents from the cemetery archives have already been acquired.
