Milan, October 22 (askanews) – "This type of problem is growing in the North, it's reaching Lazio, it's not just stopping in the South. We're in Europe, and talking about the difference between North and South is, I think, truly shortsighted. The President of the Republic said something very wise, as always: 'No country can do it alone.'
If we're saying that no single European country can do it alone, imagine if we can differentiate between North and South," said Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini on the sidelines of the World Manufacturing Forum, currently underway in Milan. "We need the entire country to move at the same speed. We also need the sole Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the South to be refinanced, precisely because it has shown it is recovering.
There can be no distinction between North and South. I must say it again today: Italy is strong if all of Italy is strong."
