Rome, October 27 (Adnkronos/Labitalia) – "Molise's productive fabric is made up of over 95% micro and small businesses, often family-run, deeply rooted in the local area, which operate with stoic resilience. In recent months, we have seen some initial positive signs. Artisan businesses, accounting for approximately 20% of our productive activities, remain an important component for employment and social cohesion.

An interesting sign also comes from female entrepreneurship, which in Molise is among the highest in Italy: 27% of the total are women-led businesses. Foreign-led businesses have also increased by over 15% in the last ten years. All these numbers tell us about a vibrant and adaptable reality, but structural and sustainable growth is difficult. Therefore, it is important to talk not only about support, but also about guidance. The CNEL (National Council for Economics and Labour), with its coordination and analysis function, can become a valuable reference point for providing data, trends, and best practices to the Regions. The future of our regions depends on businesses, employment, and young people, and also on collaboration between the various institutions, the Regions, and Parliament. I am convinced that the protocol we are signing today can be a starting point for this joint effort." This was stated by Quintino Pallante, President of the Molise Regional Council, speaking at the meeting "Health, Business, and Work," promoted by the National Council of the Italian National Employment Agency (CNEL) in collaboration with the Conference of Presidents of the Legislative Assemblies of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces.
