Poland's Robot Revolt: Workers Strike to Demand AI Regulation
Outside the Ministry of Digital Affairs in Warsaw, Poland , 30 robots demonstrated , waving flags and holding slogans, calling on the government to regulate AI before it causes people to lose their jobs.
The protest was organized by Democratism, an initiative that, according to its website, aims to start a debate on how artificial intelligence and robotization are impacting the job market.

Among the slogans chanted during the robot protest in Warsaw were: “The robots here serve to show that this technology is already a reality,” “Defend jobs , ” “ It's time for regulations, ” and “Don't wait, regulate .” These were the words of (human) organizer Grzegorz Kuliś: “ We want to address, above all, the issue of the possible replacement of people by both humanoid robots and artificial intelligence in cognitive work.
