Dnipro (Ukraine), October 29 (askanews) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denounced a new Russian attack against civilians in Dnipro. At least 13 people are believed to have died. A drone struck the train station where groups of commuters were waiting for a train. Zelensky called the attack "horrific" and released photos, along with a short video, of the dead on the station platform, where two passenger trains were waiting to depart.
Ten people were injured, but rescuers are still working on the scene. "How many terrorist attacks of this kind," Zelensky commented, "has Russia launched against our people since sanctions against some Russian oligarchs and the energy sector were lifted, instead of working to ease tensions?"
Then the appeal to the international community: “In response to the Russian escalation, fair and decisive action by the United States and Europe is needed.”
