"The housing emergency in Europe is a phenomenon recognized by Parliament, but the framework under discussion does not satisfy us," stated Antonella Sberna, MEP for the Brothers of Italy party and Vice President of the European Parliament. "Giorgia Meloni's government has adopted concrete and pragmatic measures," including mortgage guarantees to support young couples and families, strengthening the recovery of public assets, and investments and simplifications for construction companies.

“We believe this is a viable recipe, one that all of Europe can draw inspiration from, even in this parliamentary debate,” he concluded.
