Venice, September 9 – The 83rd Venice International Film Festival is underway at the Lido, bringing together actors, directors, and leading figures from international cinema until September 12. Beyond the films and red carpets, the Festival is also a showcase for image and style trends. In Venice, every detail contributes to the stars' look, from fashion choices to hairstyles.
Kérastase, present at the Lido for the ninth consecutive year, is responsible for the hair looks of many of the Festival's guests. We spoke with Federica Scolaro, Kérastase marketing manager: "Kérastase's presence at the Venice International Film Festival is based on a perfect synergy of values between our brand and the world of cinema.
First and foremost, professional excellence and luxury. Kérastase is a luxury professional haircare brand, and Venice is one of the most prestigious catwalks in the world. It's therefore the ideal setting to celebrate the ultimate expression of beauty, personal care, and sophisticated style." This year, 70 hairstylists will be present in Venice, creating over 700 hair looks throughout the event. "Just like skin, hair ages too.
Our latest line, Chronologiste, brings the science of longevity to the world of hair treatments, restoring vitality, shine, and fullness, from scalp to ends,” added Scolaro. The red carpet also provided some insights into the trends that could shape the next fall/winter season. “What I’ve seen as trends for next season will definitely be structured and destructured bangs, long bobs, and waves, but in a softer, more flowing version. They will, in fact, be less structured than we saw last year and up until now. Furthermore, the wet look is making a big comeback. To achieve certain results on hair, however, you need a perfect canvas, just like a painter who starts with a blank canvas and then paints and fills it. I can achieve this effect on my hair using Chronologiste, which gives me the naturalness, softness, and shine I need to create these looks,” said Davide Andena, hairstylist at Kérastase. These elements are now inseparable from the narrative of the Festival, where cinema, fashion, and creativity continue to converge on the red carpet. (Advertising Service)
